Trevor Lawrence is officially married after tying the knot with longtime girlfriend Marissa Mowry on Saturday.
The former Clemson star quarterback and Anderson University football alum got married in a chapel in Bluffton, SC, according to TigerNet.com.
The ceremony took place nine months after the engagement was announced.
Mowry shared photos from the ceremony on Instagram on Sunday.
“My love forever,” wrote Mowry.
Lawrence, suspected number 1 in this month’s NFL Draft 2021, signed off from NFL Draft medical testing last week in Indianapolis in preparation for the wedding.
Two days before the wedding, Lawrence and Mowry attended the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, where they were photographed with Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lawrence, 21, proposed to Mowry at Clemson’s home ground at Memorial Stadium in South Carolina in July 2020.
Mowry, also 21, said the field was the “only place” the couple wanted their “proposition story” to be.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram after the couple’s engagement in July, Mowry said, “I know it looks to many like a soccer player is proposing to his girlfriend on the field where he has so many memories. However, it is just the opposite. The decision to go to Clemson opened the door to our future together. This stadium means so much more than the tangible gifts it has given us, “she went on, adding,” It is not just a field or a stadium, but a place our father gave us through a gift he gave Trevor gave to expand our relationship, used as a vessel with him and with each other. “
Before Lawrence tied the knot, Lawrence, who, according to Instagram, has been with Mowry since at least early 2016, had his bachelorette party in Vegas in March.

It is unclear whether the newlyweds will enjoy an adequate honeymoon. The NFL draft in Cleveland is scheduled for April 29th.
Lawrence, who will see the Clemson design with friends and family, is also recovering from a torn labrum in his left shoulder that he underwent surgery on Feb. 16.
Ahead of his wedding weekend, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Lawrence’s rehab process “is going very well” even though it’s “not 100 percent.”
