Including Dodford Manor, seven of the top ten venues were barns – an ideal blank canvas to transform into a theme or DIY decor.
The researchers describe the Northamptonshire venue as “a luxurious barn suitable for elegant and upscale formal weddings” as well as for “relaxed, informal affairs”.
Set in 20 acres of countryside, the venue has a prep room with large mirrors, a historic mortain barn where the civil ceremonies are held, a flagstone barn with towering rustic wooden beams and flooded with natural light.

The barn can be converted for 30 to 170 guests.
There’s also the Oak Barn for the wedding breakfast, which has a glass wall that overlooks the view.
Sarah Allard of Hitched said, “The past 18 months have been one of the toughest for the wedding industry and everyone in the industry has had to adapt, from virtual show rounds to online consultations.
“It was amazing to see how the wedding locations went one step further to support wedding couples on their journey.
“Now that weddings have returned and confidence has returned, the venues are busier than ever and we are excited to celebrate these special places that have received so many inquiries from married couples.
“We have a busy year ahead of us for weddings and these top companies deserve a place on this list.”
