The spot previously had a temporary event ad that allowed these things to happen for 21 days, but has now filed an application with the Dover District Council licensing authority asking for permanent permission.

She demands permission for plays and films to be shown from Monday to Sunday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., live music from Sunday to Wednesday between 12 p.m. and 11 p.m. and from Thursday to Saturday until midnight.

It is asking for the green light to host performance dance shows between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Alcohol can be sold from Sunday to Wednesday from 12:00 to 23:00 and from Thursday to Saturday until 23:00.

Solton Manor is a Grade I listed luxury mansion next to a luxurious barn.

The website states, “While the mansion itself can accommodate up to 100 people for an intimate boutique-style wedding, the barns can accommodate up to 150 meals in a state-of-the-art yet characterful setting.”

A public consultation is ongoing and will end tomorrow, Wednesday 18th August.

If the application is not contradicted, it will be granted. In the event of complaints, a hearing will take place at an appointment that has yet to be confirmed.
