Wedding and Hospitality Group The Oldwalls Collection is recruiting more than 50 positions to meet post-lockdown demand in Wales.
The recruitment campaign has received a record number of applicants despite a difficult year for the hotel industry. An open day for recruitment will take place next Wednesday in Oldswalls Gower.
Andrew Hole, Managing Director of The Oldwalls Collection, said: “The hospitality industry has been hit, but our goal is to get good people back into the group and show them the future is bright. We’ll be back by signing up deal. ” Rewards to attract qualified hotel professionals and development programs to attract the next generation of chefs, service experts and hotel professionals. “
The recruitment campaign expects Wales to follow suit with England and Scotland by easing all restrictions on weddings in July. The wedding industry was one of the hardest hit industries during the pandemic and is now facing a backlog in weddings and increased demand from newly engaged couples.
Fairyhill Venue Manager Joanne Purnell Rees said, “It is important that we hire new staff to ensure the world-class weddings and standards for which we are known for continue to be delivered.”
The Oldwalls Collection was founded in 2008 and included wedding venues, Oldwalls Gower and Fairyhill, and seven luxury self-catering cottages.
Debbie Durham, Oldwalls Gower Venue Manager, said, “Positions on our wedding planning and management team are rare as we have an incredible team that has been in their positions for years.”
