It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since then
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were married in a beautiful ceremony at Westminster Abbey, London. April 29th marks this milestone for the Cambridgesand to celebrate, they released two stunning new portraits!
Chris FloydThey show the couple hugging at Kensington Palace earlier this week. The first functions Prince William Hold Duchess Kate‘s hand as he hugs her from the side and he looks at her lovingly as she smiles at the camera. The second shows how he holds them by the side while they stand in front of the palace.
The first photo was simply labeled “10 years” followed by the bride and groom emojis.
“Taken this week before The Duke and Duchess’ 10th wedding anniversary,” read the caption for the second picture. Both images were shared on @KensingtonRoyal Instagram on April 28th.
The Cambridges go wonderfully with shades of blue in the anniversary portraits. The
Shade is a favorite of Kate‘s. For the pictures she recycled the Avery Floral Print Dress from ghostwhat they previously worn to that of the couple royal tour of Pakistan in 2019. The printed blue dress enhances her diamond and blue sapphire engagement ring. Kate also wears what appears to be a floral necklace. Her brunette locks are parted down the middle in flowing waves.
William wears a blue sweater with a chambray collar shirt underneath and navy pants.
“The day I visited the Cambridges for the first time in my life was also the day I was approached to photograph the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their tenth wedding anniversary,” said Chris
HELLO! United Kingdom. “It was exciting to spend some time with them at Kensington Palace, especially since the Duchess is quite an avid photographer.”
It is unknown how the couple will celebrate their anniversary, however
You will likely do it privately. For William and Kate’s 2020 anniversary, Kate participated in a video discussion on helping new mothers and pregnant women from the couple’s country house, Anm Hall. They isolated themselves in their Norfolk home around the time the UK went into its first Coronavirus Blocking in March 2020.
Congratulations to William and Kate!
