There were a number of guests at Kanye West’s latest Donda listening event – but the greatest cameo of all came courtesy of his seemingly estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
During the live event last night at Soldier Field in Chicago, while playing the song “No Child Left Behind” to nearly 40,000 people, Kardashian, who filed for divorce from West in February, slowly walked up to the rapper, while he was wearing an all-white couture dress by Balenciaga (reminiscent of a wedding dress) as the auditory event neared its end. When Kardashian faced West on the field, the lights in the stadium went out, signaling the end of the event and the completion of the album. Kardashian also attended the two previous Donda listening parties for West with her kids, although the reality star was first inducted into part of the production last night.

SKIMS founder’s sisters, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, posted clips from the live stream of the audio event by humans showing Kim’s silhouette adorning the stadium, further substantiating the belief that it was her under the Balenciaga veil. TMZ reported that the veiled woman was actually Kim, despite the point of sale making it clear that the couple will not be back together; Kim just wants to continue helping West through her divorce, even with creative endeavors.
The Thursday listening event in Chicago was the third promotional event that resulted in the release of West’s newest album, Donda. Although the project has been hyped for weeks, the release date has been postponed constantly and it is unclear when the official drop will take place. Donda is named after the rapper’s late mother, Donda West, who died of complications from plastic surgery in 2007 at the age of 58.
