In Suzanne Jackson’s and Dylan O’Connor’s lavish marriage ceremony events

Top fashion and beauty blogger and makeup entrepreneur Suzanne Jackson celebrates her fourth wedding anniversary with husband Dylan O’Connor today.

The happy couple became husband and wife in an intimate church ceremony on August 5, 2017. They got engaged while on vacation in the Maldives in December 2015.

Four years later, thanks to the incredible decor, outstanding guest list and, of course, Suzanne’s coveted wedding dress, it’s one of the most talked about celebrity weddings in Ireland.

The couple married in Suzanne’s local Skerries Ward and were surrounded by friends and family on the big day.

The couple married at St. Patrick’s Church and on that day made modern vows: “I had set my heart on getting married in Skerries,” Suzanne blogged at the time.

“After all, this has always been my local church and I thought it was perfect to marry my soul mate there too.”

Suzanne came to the ceremony in a silver Rolls Royce and was helped out of the car by her father Damian, who looked neat in formal uniform.

Suzanne looked beautiful in her bespoke Hayley Paige dress, sourced from McElhinny’s of Ballybofey, Co. Donegal.

The businesswoman later said that she had originally opted for a different dress to marry, but felt unfaithful with the choice and asked the designer if they could create a bespoke dress for her.

Suzanne was instrumental in the design process from start to finish, and the glamorous plunging neckline of the dress, delicate lace sleeves and full skirt represent all elements of the tailor’s bride’s personal style.

Her five bridesmaids, including sisters Carla and Katie, wore pale pink chiffon-style dresses and carried white bouquets of flowers with delicate pink dots of flowers.

Groom Dylan looked handsome in a flawless dark blue suit, complete with a stylish gray vest and cream tie.

At the ceremony, Irish soprano Sinead O’Brien and tenor Derek Moloney sang about the crowd.

After the ceremony was over, the couple presented themselves for the first time as a married couple on the top step of the church entrance, where they shared a loving kiss to cheer the guests.

They then posed together under a white flower arch and were sprinkled with white rose petals while they took some pictures.

They were then escorted to their reception at the Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa in County Wicklow.

The reception was full of intricate details, from the rose gold Newbridge Silverware cutlery on every table to the eight-tier wedding cake decorated by Ferrero Roche – along with Suzanne’s two outfit changes.

The ballroom was perfumed with Jo Malone candles and diffusers, with blogger choosing Orange Blossom as her signature wedding fragrance.

The couple’s wedding planners, Gotcha Covered, set up a special nightclub area for the occasion, where guests enjoyed a variety of musical experiences, including Celtic drums, Riverdance renditions and the 7-piece band The Gatecrashers.

At the reception, Suzanne and Dylan shared their first dance as a couple to the Lana Del Rey ballad Young and Beautiful.

“What a weekend! We just have no words!” Posted Suzanne at the time.

“A huge thank you to everyone who was part of the most beautiful weekend of our lives. We laughed, we cried, we danced and we had fun! Memories that will last a lifetime.”
