ROCHESTER, NY (WHEC) – Couples who had to postpone their wedding dates to 2021 are overjoyed with the new guidelines Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Friday. As of March, wedding reception venues are allowed to jump from 50 to a maximum of 150 people as long as the venue is 50% or less busy.
“Imagine you have a wedding in 2020 and then you have to postpone it to 2021. Then we hope that all of your family and friends are there so it is so refreshing and exciting that we are excited,” said Agathi Grahm, who owns Arbor Venues in Rochester.
