Catherine Tyldesley recreates her five-year anniversary wedding photos – while talking about her family’s growth and hormonal imbalance

Catherine Tyldesley recreated her wedding photos with husband Tom Pitfield to mark five years since they tied the knot.

This week hello! The 37-year-old actress slipped back into her elegant Philip Armstrong wedding gown as she posed for a stunning shoot at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire with her personal trainer spouse and six-year-old son Alfie.

The former Coronation Street star discussed the prospect of growing her family and also touched on how her body felt “pregnant” when she experienced hormonal imbalance in her body for an accompanying interview.

In the original picture, the actress and her longtime spouse rocked their little one, who was one at the time when they made their vows in the large manor house.

The screen star swapped her blonde locks for her light brunette locks while looking as glamorous as ever in the new picture.

In the meantime, the thespian announced that she had put a stone on it and was feeling morning sick from her recent illness, which she did not reveal.

The TV star shared, “My body seemed to think it was pregnant. I’ve done so many tests that I was convinced I was actually pregnant and even had morning sickness, but in fact my body was just mimicking pregnancy.

“My endocrinologist said she had never seen such a reaction. It felt like I gave birth without having a baby. I gained weight despite eating well and exercising hard. Only now do I feel like I have my body back.

In the prospect of having more children, the Viewpoint star said: “We’re as happy as three and never feel like anything is missing, but do I want another child? Yeah i think i would do it. When it happens, that’s wonderful. ‘

The Salford native added that she was “very passionate” about adoption and described the process as “one of the greatest things you can do for another person”.

Catherine repeated her comments during a Q&A with fans late last year, stating, “I would like to have someone else sometime. I always said I wanted two. Maybe adoption. So many children need a good home. ‘

The mother of one has been busy on Coronation Street since Eva Price retired in 2018, appearing on shows like the sitcom Scarborough and the ITV police drama Viewpoint.
