The COVID pandemic has canceled many weddings, but Busch Beer is hoping to help three happy couples.
The company has turned two farms in Idaho and North Dakota into outdoor wedding venues, and is offering to pay for a wedding planner, catering, and entertainment for the winning couples. There will be “a lot of Busch beer, too,” the company said.
“We heard that all wedding venues are fully booked,” tweeted Busch. “So we turned wasted farmland into venues for three happy couples to tie the knot.”
Those interested in winning the dream weddings can reply to Busch’s tweet, “How Busch brings the two of you together.” Also use the hashtags “#BuschFarmWedding and #Contest”. It’s also on the company’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
“Busch has been an integral part of weddings for years, and we were disappointed that even more couples were unable to hold their celebrations this year due to a lack of available venues,” said Daniel Blake, Vice President of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch . “We believe that weddings, like our beer, can best be enjoyed in the great outdoors. That’s why we’re excited to be working with American farmers to create exclusive wedding venues for Busch fans.”
Although the farms are located in Idaho and North Dakota, the competition winners can be from any state.
Some people have already started releasing their appetizers.
“We love drinking ice cold @BuschBeer together on our favorite Nascar track and cheering on car # 4,” tweeted one person. “What a great wedding that would be.”
The competition runs until April 7th and the weddings are in July.
