Richie and Madden got engaged in 2010 after dating more than three years and sharing two children: daughter Harlow and son Sparrow. That year, at their wedding ceremony in the home of Richie’s father Lionel Richie, a French garden theme featuring a living elephant – luckily, the bride said – and a horse and carriage was featured.

Parker and Broderick surprised friends and family with an unexpected ceremony in 1997. The couple reportedly invited 100 guests to a “cocktail party,” but when they got to the Lower East Side Synagogue in New York City, they were greeted with a wedding instead. Parker defied tradition by wearing a black wedding dress, and guests could hear music at the party until the wee hours of the morning – fittingly when the duo met while at work on Broadway.
