Morley Hayes was named East Midlands Wedding Venue of the Year for the second time

A Derbyshire wedding venue has been named the best in the area for the second year running.

Morley Hayes was named East Midlands Wedding Venue of the Year at the belated 2020 I Do Wedding Awards.

The venue on Main Road in Morley has been rated an exceptional wedding experience by couples who tied the knot there.

The golf complex and four-star hotel, which has been hosting wedding ceremonies since 2006, retained the title at a virtual award ceremony.

Andrew Allsop, General Manager of Morley Hayes said: “We are delighted to have retained our venue of the year title as it is chosen by the couples themselves rather than a jury.

“Whether it’s a wedding reception, a full civil ceremony, or a civil ceremony, our dedicated team of wedding coordinators work hard to create a wedding package that is just as individual as our guests.

“The past 12 months have been challenging for wedding venues across the UK and we look forward to returning to Morley Hayes weddings in the coming months.”

Now in its sixth year, the I Do Wedding Awards celebrate the achievement and achievement of wedding providers from the Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside.

The 2020 awards were due to take place at Sheffield City Hall last May but were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic before being held as a virtual event.

Morley Hayes previously won the East Midlands Wedding Venue of the Year title at the same awards.

The Best Venue Award is given to establishments that have outstanding wedding venues, offer an exceptional wedding experience and place customer satisfaction at the center of their actions.

The prizes are decided solely by the votes of the couples who have personally used their services.
